Minority / Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Overview

A Minority/Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Certification is a title given to businesses that are at least 51% owned, controlled, and operated by women and / or Minorities.

M/WBE Benefits

To become certified, businesses must undergo a thorough vetting process that includes a site visit and review of business documentation.

M/WBE ELIGIBILITY

Displaying the logos on your website, door, and products will bring you a level of marketing that your business may not have been able to reach previously.

Each symbol shows that your Minority Women-Owned Small Business is trusted by the Federal Government and your products worthy of the highest order of commerce.

  • Majority Owned (at least 51%) ownership by one or more women and /or Minority
  • Demonstrated proof of the qualifying minority / woman management and control of business
  • A minority / woman holding the highest defined title in the company
  • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident for minority /woman owner(s) that make up majority ownership
